The Doula Project is based in New York City. We have partnered with Planned Parenthood Brooklyn, Planned Parenthood Bronx, and several public hospitals to provide doula support for clients choosing abortion or facing fetal loss.
We work with pregnant people who cannot afford doula care or who seek low-cost doulas on a case-by-case basis, via agency or provider referrals or self-referral via this website.
We create a community of support, education, and opportunity within our organization and the doulas who work with us. We provide comprehensive full-spectrum training, hold monthly support and educational meetings, and facilitate relationships between the doulas who volunteer for us.
As one of the pioneering full-spectrum doula care providers, we have developed an extensive sliding-scale training platform that is adaptable to multiple needs. We have trained clinics, medical students, activists, university students, and organizers around the country. Contact us at national[a]doulaproject.org for more information about our trainings and public education programming.
